5:38 I am sold, any doubts faded. If developers SAW that marvelous diorama and have read Horus Heresy epic novels - then this game in the right hands for sure and the game looks phenomenal.

Honestly quite surprised by how knowledgeable the developers are with Space Marine lore.
They read a whole bunch of the books and codex’s based around both factions being in the book, chaos included

Using Know no Fear as part of your research is a bit weird since it's set in 30k not 40k and the Ultramarines and Space Marines in general changed a bit during that time.
But they seem to get the lore so it shouldn't be a problem.
They know they'd be cooked alive by the fanbase if they didn't read up on stuff

Well in the video there is Corvus Blackstar and Blackshield Deathwatch marine so here is hoping too.
Might I recommend "Space Hulk: Death wing". It's all about the Deathwatch. Still holds up today. Great game, and amazing to play with friends!
@@jonathanolson1185 That game is about the Death Wing, which are Dark Angels. The Deathwatch is the militant arm of the Ordo Xenos and consists of Marines from a lot of different chapters.

I played Boltgun… and then read the entire Horus Heresy. Was bummed Space Marine 1 wasn’t available in the Xbox store - super excited for this.
I swear Saber, you've done amazingly with these trailers. The "glass house" approach where you are breaking everything down is really nice and we are super happy if you couldnt tell. The hype rhinio is running at full speed and we cant wait for those blast doors to open so we can rip, tear and purge in his name. (Trailers are so damn good non 40k players i know are asking me about 40k lore and the tabletop to prepare themselfs for what to come and honestly its a breath of fresh air finally having them understand 🤣)

Yes, was watching his videos before 40k introduction (I am an old fan from Final Liberation period). It's a shame and a pity that such a passionate fan didn't have the opportunity to witness such a high-quality product of love and respect of the developers for the universe as Space Marine 2.
I hope he still played the game in the heaven before us by His will. The fallen shall be forever remembered as the Emperor's finest.

Tbf, he was tortured, made to become deathwatch. Believed to be cast out by his chapter and brothers, and nearly died. He has a reason to feel alot of pain and anger.

Consider that this game has many system design similar to WWZ which made by the same developer, plus this is published by Saber. What issues they did for WWZ and Teardown made me lower my expectations

Honestly, the fact that the reveal showcased they knew Cadians by giving them the purple eyes showed that they knew their details. I'm hopeful.

Cuz that's interesting. Firstborn Deathwatch marines being attacked by Tyranids, and you can see that one of the marines is a Blood Raven. I assume that the Marine being thrown out by the Tyranids is Titus. I wanna learn moree
